JRT is seeking an experienced Social Influencer Manager/Content Specialist who will play a pivotal role in the oversight of a team of highly skilled automotive-centric social influencers/storytellers. This client-facing position demands strong interpersonal skills (the ability to make conversation with everyone and anyone), strong project management and organizational skills, creativity, sound judgment and a deep passion for original digital content creation in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Influencer Management: (Approximately 70% of the work week)
- Cultivate and manage relationships with automotive social influencers
- Review influencer applications and conduct interviews for brand alignment
- Ideate and collaborate with a variety of personalities to assist in the creation of the most compelling content possible
- Develop and implement influencer campaign strategies for optimal brand impact
- Track, analyze and report on campaign performance metrics
- Attend occasional events to support influencers and represent the brand
- Digital Content Management Support: (Approximately 20% of the work week)
- Assist in curating and posting engaging content on an automotive enthusiast website
- Maintain content quality and consistency aligning with brand guidelines
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling digital content
- Social Media Support: (Approximately 10% of the work week)
- Assist the social media manager in content creation and campaign execution
- Monitor social media trends and performance metrics for optimization
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Ensure cohesive brand messaging across all digital platforms
- Coordinate with account, creative and technical teams for successful campaign execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 2-4 years of proven experience in social media management, influencer relations, content management or project management
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, digital analytics tools and social media scheduling software
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills with attention to detail is a MUST
- Outgoing personality that thrives on building relationships
- Proven ability to interact well with executive-level clients with comfort in presenting findings and recommendations on overall program progress and status
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment
- Passion for the automotive industry is a significant plus
