It’s probably because our agency’s mission of pursuing everyday invention naturally aligned with the Kelly Services mission to continuously improve their professional service experience for clients, candidates and employees. In this case, by strategizing clear Mobile Branch Objectives, our new clients inspired us with their tenacity to shake up the typical recruiting and interviewing status quo.
Kelly Mobile Branch Objectives
Our team was charged with creating a way to:
- Bring the brand directly to the best talent, rather than expecting talent to come calling
- Act as an extension of the Kelly Services brick-and-mortar location for a consistent brand and recruitment experience
- Provide prospective employees a way to potentially apply, interview and get hired for a job on the spot
- Stand out from the competition and differentiate Kelly Services with an innovative new recruiting solution
With passions ignited and by leaping headfirst with our client partners, the JRT agency®/CG Detroit® team developed the concept solution for the Mobile Branch: THE SPOT – a custom-designed and upfitted mobile recruiting vehicle unit. We originated the ideal platform, a Ram ProMaster®, ideated and installed a bold Mobile Branch brand ID package for THE SPOT, as well as managed the upfit process from start to finish, including equipping the ProMaster with custom features like a deployable rooftop sign, oversized recruitment window and an inviting private interview space for the interior.
Additional elements were THE SPOT/Kelly Services branded tents and signage to invite recruits to “Connect with Kelly”. This attractive event setup kit also included a branded bean bag toss game, stereo system and lounge furniture to attract prospects to the mobile unit to apply for jobs. Of course, all activation elements for THE SPOT reinforce the Kelly Services brand, and were created with our mandatory, easy-to-deploy standard for Kelly team members on the road.
THE SPOT has been so successful that a second mobile branch unit recently hit the streets. To date, the two mobile units have successfully completed 24 market tours, activated an impressive 252 events and delivered the Kelly Services experience to thousands of eager candidates.
